Ahead Of Ramadan, OKU Regency Government Holds Social Service Including Cheap Market Titles
Welcoming Ramadan, the South Sumatra OKU Regency Government performs social services for residents. This is realized in a cheap market and free medicine.
Acting OKU Regent Teddy Meilwansyah in Baturaja, Sunday said that this social and low-cost market activity targets people in several villages in Peninjauan District and the Greater Peninjauan District (KPR).
"The OKU Regency Government has a memotorial of the social service movement that focuses on health services for the community and low-cost market operations," he said, as reported by Antara (10/3/2024).
For free treatment, he said, ranging from mild diseases such as cholesterol checks, fever and high blood pressure.

"In fact, in providing health services, the OKU Regency Government has launched an ID card treatment program for underprivileged people since 2023," he said.
Meanwhile, for the cheap market itself, his party provides various types of basic necessities such as rice, cooking oil, sugar, and wheat flour.
This basic ingredient is packaged in food packages that are sold at affordable prices or cheaper than the market.
In this operation, the local government provided a subsidy of Rp. 10,000 per package to ease the burden on the community in meeting basic needs to welcome the holy month of Ramadan this year.
"For the price of rice, the Stabilization of Supply and Food Price (SPHP) is packaged at 5 kilograms and 1 liter of cooking oil is only sold for IDR 60,000/package," he said.
