JCI Turns Green, Closed Friday Afternoon, Increasing 0.24 Percent To 4,907.57 Level
JAKARTA - The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) rebounded at the close of trading on Friday, March 13. JCI rose 0.24 percent or 11.82 points to 4,907.57.
At the close of trading, there were 132 stocks that had strengthened, 283 stocks had weakened, and 105 stocks were stagnant. The trading volume was recorded at 7.83 billion shares and was transacted as much as Rp9.14 trillion.
Binaartha Sekuritas analyst, M. Nafan Aji Gustama, said the government's share buyback policy was right when the JCI experienced another halt trading.
"Therefore, they take advantage of oversold stock conditions to carry out accumulated purchases. On the other hand, market players welcome various moves by the government and stakeholders in providing stimulus policies," Nafan told VOI.
This afternoon, stocks that were among the top gainers, including PT Metro Healthcare Indonesia Tbk (CARE) which rose 34.95 percent to IDR139, PT Andalan Sakti Primaindo Tbk (ASPI) which gained 16.28 percent to IDR400, and PT J Resources Asia Pasifik Tbk (PSAB) which strengthened 13.51 percent to IDR 210.
As for those in the top losers, including PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN) which fell 6.54 percent to Rp1,000, PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) which fell 6.43 percent to Rp655, and PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk. (LPKR) which weakened 5.71 percent to Rp198.
