Pioneer Plane Tarakan-Binuang Route Lost Contact
TARAKAN - The pioneer plane PK SNE type Pilatus PC6 belonging to the Smart Aviation airline, reportedly lost contact/lost contact.
According to information, the pioneering plane took off from Tarakan's Juata Airport at 08.30 WITA, Friday, March 8, to Binuang Village in Central Krayan District, Nunukan Regency, North Kalimantan (Kaltara). It is estimated that the plane landed in Binuang, at 10.00 WITA.
However, until 14:14 WITA, the airport has not received reports of landings from cargo planes carrying the basic necessities.
The head of Tarakan Airport, Bambang Hartato, confirmed the information. Communication between the airport and the cargo plane pilot has been cut off.
"We are still in a limited meeting with rescue teams to help track the plane's tracks while in the air.
"Currently we are looking for information about the status of this aircraft," said Bambang.
