MSMEs Are Increasingly Creative, Jokowi Praises The 'Young Mother' Cracker Products
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) admits that he is proud of the products of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that continue to show progress. Especially in terms of increasingly modern packaging.
When going to the field, continued Jokowi, he often finds MSME products with modern packaging, even worth exporting.

Jokowi also showed a packaged product of Crackuk Ranjingan Mama Muda. He said that the packaging of this product was very good from what was previously only packaged using ordinary plastic.
"I just met 5,000 PNM Mekaar customers last week. Our packaging crackers by our MSMEs are now like this (showing products)," he said.
Ranjungan crackers like this packaging, used to be only given regular plastic, sold everywhere, now like this. Can be sold in modern retail retail Hypermart anywhere possible, although not all packaging is like this, packaging is like this, but maybe 40 percent of the packaging is like this," he continued.
In addition to the modern packaging, Jokowi also praised the choice of names as brands or brands of these products because they were creative because there was the word Mama Muda'. Jokowi also joked that the praise was not because he liked young mothers.

In addition to cracker products, Jokowi also shows other products, namely onion chilies that are packaged using bottles. He said this MSME product had penetrated the international market.
"This has been an export to Brunei and Malaysia, and the credit is only Rp. 5 million at PNM Mekaar. This is called Lontara, a good name," he said.
