VIDEO: Ganjar Pranowo Talks About Alleged Gratification Cases 16 Percent Of Premium Value
The tension between the 2024 presidential election seems to have not been resolved. After Ganjar Pranowo voiced and encouraged the Indonesian House of Representatives to exercise the right of inquiry, there are currently allegations of gratification with the reported presidential candidate number 03.
Chairman of Indonesia Police Watch (IPW), Sugeng Teguh Santoso reported Ganjar Pranowo and President Director of Bank Jateng for the 2014-2023 period Supriyatno to the KPK. The gratuity is suspected to be in the form of a 'cashback' and was received from an insurance company that guarantees credit to creditors of Bank Jateng. Sugeng suspects that the crime occurred in the period 2014-2023 with a total nominal gratuity of more than 100 billion rupiahs.
The 'Cashback' received, estimated at 16 percent of the premium value and allocated to three parties, namely 5 percent for the operations of Central and regional Central Java Banks, 5.5 percent for Bank Jateng shareholders, and the remaining 5.5 percent given to the controlling shareholder of Bank Jateng which is suspected to be GP. The KPK claimed to have received the report and will immediately follow up and verify the report.
Ganjar Pranowo then spoke via text message to reporters. Ganjar admitted that he did not accept the alleged gratuity. TPN spokesman Ganjar-Mahfud, Chico Hakim also commented. According to him, the report is a form of counter-attack on Ganjar's discourse proposing the implementation of the right to inquiry. Watch the video below.
