Dark And Dirty, The Regent Of Kotim, Central Kalimantan, Complained About The Condition Of The Government Office
SAMPIT - Regent of Kotawaringin Timur (Kotim), Central Kalimantan, Halikinnor highlighted the many government offices whose conditions are dirty and dark at night due to lack of lighting.
"A maximum of one week, I ask the offices to be clean and bright. This is for all SOPD offices (regional organizational units). So that Sampit can see the atmosphere of the city", said Halikinnor in Sampit, quoted by Antara, Monday, March 1.
This affirmation was one of the messages Halikinnor conveyed when leading the first joint rally after he was appointed as Regent of East Kotawaringin on Friday, February 26.
The joint apple which was also attended by the Deputy Regent of Irawati and the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum was a milestone to equalize perceptions in improving the performance of local governments in developing East Kotawaringin with the spirit of cooperation.
Halikinnor admitted to observing several local government offices in Sampit at night. Many offices are in dark conditions, so it is quite disturbing.
Therefore, Halikinnor ordered offices to add lights to make them brighter. In addition to lighting up the office environment, the addition of lighting also illuminates the streets and adds to the beautiful atmosphere of the city.
This is also in line with the program that was echoed by the Halikinnor and Irawati or Harati pairs during the campaign, namely Sampit Terang. The newly appointed regent and deputy regent pair are determined to fight for the electricity sector, especially so that the roads and settlements in this city are brightly lit.
"This does need a fee, but we can budget it because it is also for convenience so that Sampit is not dark. This is also to suppress the potential for criminal acts in this city", said Halikinnor.
Another problem that Halikinnor highlighted on this first day of work was time management. He reminded all local employees to be disciplined in time so that service to the community can be maximized.
"From now on we will improve our performance. We must be disciplined with time. If there is an apple, meeting, or activity, it must be held on time and present on time. Likewise in providing services to the community", said Halikinnor.
