Google Releases Updates For Pixel And Pixel Watch Phones

JAKARTA The automatic software update was released on Tuesday, March 5. This update was rolled out to almost all Pixel devices, namely cell phones and smartwatches.

The first update for Pixel phones is an upgraded Call Screening feature on Pixel 6 devices and later. Now, this feature can be used when the caller is silent during the call.

Pixel users will see the Halo button listed on the screen when the caller does not respond. When the button is clicked, Google Assistant will ask the caller to speak and become a communication intermediary.

Next, Google updated its color, light intensity, and contrast on the Instagram live camera. For Pixel 7 series 7 Pixel 8 and Pixel Fold users, they can share HDR 10-bit videos and Ultra HDR photos on Instagram.

The latest update for Pixel phones is the Circuit to Search feature. This feature was originally only available for the Pixel 8 series, but now Pixel 7 series users can feel the feature. This feature is being launched in stages.

Meanwhile, Google brings more features to the first generation Pixel Watch. This added feature was originally only on Pixel Watch 2. Some of the features Google added and updated are Pace Training, Fitbit Relax, and Maps.

Pace Training is a feature launched to set the target speed in exercising. When connected to the Pixel Buds Pro, users will get a haptic signal and sound from the Pixel Watch.

The next feature that just exists in the first Pixel Watch is Fitbit Relax. This feature can be used to train breathing and calm the mind. To use this feature, users must download the Fitbit application.

Finally, Google added directions for public transportation on Maps. Users can see different public transportation options, real-time departure times, and map views to guide users to their destination.
