Mortar Remains Of The War Exploded At The Brimob Headquarters Of The East Java Police
SURABAYA - The explosion occurred at the East Java Police Mobile Brigade Headquarters on Jalan Raya Gresik number 39 Surabaya. It is suspected that this explosion came from the discovery of mortars that had not been destroyed.
"Such as mortars, the findings of war remnants that have not been disposal, and are planned to be destroyed in these weeks. The type of fire is included in the low-explosive category," said East Java Police Chief Inspector General Imam Sugianto, Monday, March 4.
Imam said the mortar left over from the war was placed in an ordinary building, because the East Java Police Gegana Team did not yet have a standard building.
"Alhamdulillah, there were no casualties, only lost office materials and one timeks car containing equipment for the Jibom explosion," he said.
Currently, the team is working from the laboratory and then from being accompanied by Gegana himself is currently processing the crime scene, including being backed up by the Criminal Investigation Unit from Tanjung Perak.
