RI Strictly Condemns Israel And Urges UN DK To Take Action On The Murder Of Gazans While Waiting For Help
JAKARTA - Indonesia strongly condemns Israel following the shooting that killed hundreds of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip while waiting for humanitarian aid.

Through the account of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemlu) on social media X, reported by ANTARA, Saturday, March 2, Indonesia strongly condemned the massacre on Thursday (29/2) which killed more than 100 Palestinian civilians.
Indonesia also criticized the UN DK, which it considered slow to respond to Israeli military aggression in the Gaza Strip. Indonesia urged the agency to immediately order a ceasefire.
"Is this humanitarian tragedy still not enough for the UN Security Council to agree on a resolution on a ceasefire?" said the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Indonesia reminded the UN Security Council that no country is above international law and has the right to act without heeding the law.
In addition, Indonesia argues that other countries should immediately stop supporting Israel with assistance that actually allows Israel to continue its aggression in the Gaza Strip.
Indonesia urges countries to stop weapons assistance to Israel for justice and humanity, according to the statement.

Israel's military aggression to Gaza since October 7, 2023 have killed at least 30,035 Palestinians and injured more than 70,000 others.
The United Nations said the Israeli action caused 85 percent of Gaza's population to be expelled from their homes, 60 percent of Gaza's infrastructure was damaged and destroyed, and caused severe shortages of food, clean water, and medicines.
