The Italian government recently suspended all sporting competitions until April 3 due to the coronavirus crisis and started taking major steps to stop it from spreading further, including closing all shops except food stores and pharmacies.
A number of soccer teams strictly follow the procedures set by the government. There are more than 12,000 confirmed cases of the corona virus and the death toll has reached 827 in Italy.
