PIS, KPI, And TotalEnergies Teken HoA Oil And Energy Terminal Transportation

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina International Shipping (PIS) and PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional (KPI) signed a Head of Agreement (HOA) with Totalenergeries Trading SA (TOTSA).

This agreement includes cooperation in the field of oil shipping transportation, energy terminals, and crude oil supply storage.

The signing was carried out jointly by KPI CEO Taufik Adityawarman, Director of Crude and Petroleum Tanker PIS Brilian Perdana, and TOTSA President Trading and Shipping TotalEnergies Thomas Waymel, last week.

Director of Crude and Petroleum Tanker PIS Brilian Perdana explained, through this business agreement, PIS received priority to supply ships with competitive market rates, of course, while still prioritizing the aspects of HSSE and safety in accordance with international standards and commercial agreements.

He continued, the provision of this ship, including to meet the needs of TOTSA TotalEnergies and Pertamina International Refinery (KPI). In collaboration with KPI, PIS or its affiliates will provide ships in the form of VLC tankers, Suezmax tanks, Aframax, and various other tankers according to business needs.

Through this collaboration, PIS will also explore business opportunities for the raw oil storage terminal together with the two partners.

"PIS as the largest tanker operator in Asia is certainly ready to collaborate with global scale partners, including TOTSA for international cargo transportation. PIS also continues to support KPI for the transportation of crude oil to meet its needs," he said in a statement in a statement received by VOI, Friday, March 1.

This HoA, said Brilian, shows that PIS continues to grow in the domestic market, in line with the growing energy needs in Indonesia. In addition, corporations are also serious about working on the global market to become energy logistics business players who are taken into account.
