East Java Police Aim For 2 Candidates For New Suspects In The Pair Exchange Content Case, Their Roles Help Gus Samsudin
SURABAYA - The case of video content may exchange partners does not seem to stop at the suspect Samsudin. Head of Sub-Directorate V Cyber Ditreskrimsus East Java Police, AKBP Charles P. Tampubolon, said that there would be two new suspects related to the viral content.
"The role of these two potential suspects is to help Samsudin, and upload it on social media, so there is trouble in the community," said Charles, in Surabaya, Friday, March 1.
Until now, Charles said investigators had examined 13 witnesses in the case. Starting from expert witnesses, religion, criminal, including two people who helped Samsudin who are still witnesses.
"These two potential suspects recorded and uploaded video content. But we are currently still exploring their respective roles," he said.
Charles explained that making video content in the form of a play that caused trouble in the community to violate the law.
"Although fiction, scenarios or plays in the law have been regulated, it cannot be done because it can make people restless, and riots in society," he said.
Gus Samsudin was charged with Article 28 paragraph 2 and paragraph 3 of the Electronic Information and Transaction Law (ITE) with threats of more than 5 years in prison. "Insurably he made disturbing information and caused trouble in the community," he said.
