Today, Jokowi Returns To East Kalimantan To Review IKN Project

JAKARTA - Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will head to Bontang City and the capital city of the archipelago (IKN) during a working visit on the second day in East Kalimantan, Thursday, February 29.

Based on a press release received in Jakarta, the President started his visit to Bontang using the Indonesian Air Force Super Puma helicopter from Samarinda City.

Arriving in Bontang City, President Jokowi is scheduled to inaugurate the museumium nitrate factory PT Kaltim Amonium Nitrat.

In the afternoon, the President and his entourage will depart for the capital city of the archipelago (IKN) in North Penajam Paser Regency by helicopter.

At IKN, President Jokowi will lay the first stone (groundbreaking) for a number of infrastructure projects.

Also accompanying President Jokowi on a flight to Bontang Regency, among others, Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir, Minister of Investment/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board Bahlil Lahadalia, Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan, TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto, and Acting Governor of East Kalimantan Akmal Malik.

Appearing to release President Jokowi to Bontang City, among others, Danrem 091/Aji Surya Natakesuma Brigadier General Yudhi Prasetiyo, Samarinda Police Chief Kombes Pol Ary Fadli Danlanal Balikpapan Marine Colonel (P) Edi Kuswanto, Danlanud Dhomber Colonel Pnb David Ali Hamzah, and Dandim 091/Samarinda Lieutenant Colonel Inf Yusub Dody Sandra.
