Candil: Instead Of Singing Solo, It's Better For Ngeband

JAKARTA - Dian Dipa Chandra or better known as Candil, former Seurieus vocalist admitted that he prefers to be in a band rather than have to be in a solo career.

Even though he has been in solo careers for a long time, Candil calls the base of music as the band's vocalist difficult to leave.

"But if you ask me I prefer solo or use a band, I prefer to band. Because I'm the basis of a band child," said Candil when met in Kemang, South Jakarta last week.

Having lived both of them, Candil said that the experience of music with the band has its own 'crazy'.

"If you have a band, the chemistry is just different, so it's crazy to be together, on stage you enjoy it more when you're in a band," he said.

Most recently, Candil also joined the band The Brokers which was formed with three other vocalists, namely Axl Ramanda (Drive), Richie ex Five Minutes and Zian ex Zigaz.

"Initially, when we met friends, we used to talk together, then one day I thought why we didn't do something. I was also aware that they were busy, so I just made those who enjoyed it, who can make having fun, the important thing is that we can meet, we can make a gig together," said Candil.

The Brokers themselves are an acronym for Bintaro Rockers. The name refers to their position as rock music vocalists who live in the Bintaro area, South Tangerang.

"Indeed, we make it no burden, no pressure, but still committed. If today we have signed a gig contract, go on a gig," said Candil.

The Brokers try to make music as flexible as possible. Because of their original position as vocalists, there is a band that accompanies. However, it is possible that some of them play instruments, as well as collaborate with other rockers.

"Now there are a lot of singers, but one day, for example, Bang Pay (Burman) is playing, that's okay. Because they've been with me a lot, we also often collaborate, so there's no problem with song arrangements and all kinds of things," said Candil.
