Three COVID-19 Patients Are Recovered, The Minister Of Health Terawan Is Announced
JAKARTA - Minister of Health (Menkes) Terawan Agus Putranto has appeared again after not appearing to have conveyed the development of the corona virus or COVID-19 in Indonesia. So far, the one who conveyed the development of the corona case was Achmad Yurianto, who was appointed as the spokesperson for handling COVID-19.
Today, Terawan delivered information about the recovery of three patients who were positive for corona. This press conference was held at the Friendship Hospital, Jakarta.
"I have checked their conditions, there are three that we say are cured, both from the laboratory side and from the clinical side," said Terawan, Thursday, March 12.
Complementing Terawan's statement, Achmad Yurianto said the team of doctors at the hospital had confirmed the healing of the three people. As a result, clinically, these three people recovered from the virus that initially spread in Wuhan, China.
"In the laboratory, we did the examination twice and the results were negative. So it was decided that they were cured and did not need treatment," said Yuri.
The three people who were declared cured were patient number 06 was male with 39 years of age, patient number 14 was male with age 50 years, and patient number 19 was male with 49 years of age.
Even though they were declared cured, the hospital provided education to these three patients to keep limiting themselves in their activities. In addition, they were also given a referral letter back to the puskesmas near where the patients lived.
In addition to the three patients, Yuri explained, the nine crew members of the Diamond Princess cruise ship from Indonesia who were treated in Japan had also been declared cured. Five of them have arrived in Indonesia.
"It has returned to us. In a short time, four people who have lost their care but are still waiting for ticketing and paid for their return to Jakarta are expected to go to Jakarta in the next three days," he said.
Director of Friendship Hospital, Rita Rogaya, said that currently the hospital is still treating 16 patients, 7 of whom are positive for COVID-19, and 9 of them are patients under treatment.
Meanwhile, at RSPI Sulianti Saroso, Jakarta, there are still 9 COVID-19 patients who are still being treated. RSPI President Director Sulianti Saroso, Mohammad Syahril said, of the 9 patients, one person has not tested positive.
"So currently there are nine patients who are being treated at RSPI. Eight have been announced positive, one has not been announced (his status)," he said.
Meanwhile, there are 19 positive COVID-19 patients who are being treated outside Jakarta.
