Hadi Tjahjanto Wants To Maintain The Conducive Situation Of Pascapilpres To Meet Mahfud MD

Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Hadi Tjahjanto will coordinate with other ministries and non-ministerial government agencies (K/L) to maintain the current conducive situation.

Hadi will also meet a number of figures, including one of the former Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD, to exchange ideas.

"Earlier, I spoke with the National Police Chief and the TNI Commander regarding the political and security situation, everything is conducive and we really have to take care of this after the democratic party on February 14, 2024. I will immediately carry out consolidation with related institutions/ministeries to maintain the current condition. very good, very conducive, so that it can be maintained," Hadi said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, February 21.

Hadi said the TNI and Polri were at the forefront of maintaining the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia. However, he reminded that efforts to maintain unity and integrity are the task of all components of the nation.

"Of course, I will continue to maintain this together, coordinating with the TNI commander and the police chief. The TNI-Polri remain committed that the NKRI has a fixed price. Everything is for the sustainability of the development that we are implementing," he said.

Hadi said that in his new assignment as Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, he wanted to solve problems related to Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance (BLBI).

He will coordinate with his staff and immediately go to the field to resolve the existing problems.

"Yes, we have made the scheme and I will immediately coordinate it, including everywhere which is the top priority. We'll just have to wait, yes," he explained.

Hadi conveyed that the problems related to BLBI also concern the land he had been working on while still serving as minister of agrarian and spatial planning/head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN).

Finally, Hadi also stated that he would meet a number of national figures, including Mahfud MD.

"I was only inaugurated now, God willing, in the near future I will also visit Pak Mahfud MD and all national figures. I will go to all of them," he said.
