Pelindo Data 11 Sandar Ships In Benoa Bali
DENPASAR - BUMN PT Pelindo Benoa Port Branch, Denpasar, Bali recorded that 11 cruise ships had docked during January to mid-February at Benoa Harbor, out of a total of 52 cruise ships that registered for docking during 2024.
"For February, there are scheduled 10 cruise ships in Benoa," said General Manager of Pelindo Benoa Anak Agung Port Branch Gde Agung Mataram in Denpasar as reported by ANTARA, Monday, February 19.
Meanwhile, during 2023, Pelindo Benoa recorded 48 cruise ships at Benoa Port.
The arrival of the cruise ship is expected to contribute to the arrival of foreign tourists in Bali during the quiet season of visiting (low season) this February.
Some of the cruise ships that are already docked are Norwegian Jewel, Celebrity Millennium and Oceania Regatta. Then, Seven Seas Explorer, Crystal Symphony and Pacific Adventure with an average carrying passengers above 2,000 people with an average ship length of over 260-294 meters.
Pelindo estimates that the number of foreign tourists transported by cruise ships in 2024 will reach around 89,400 people.
Meanwhile, the number of foreign tourists carrying 48 cruise ships in 2023 reached around 77,864 people.
Currently, Benoa Port not only lowers passengers (debarkation) but has also raised passengers or spread foreign tourists.

Based on data from Pelindo Regional III, the total cost disbursed for the BMTH project is IDR 1.2 trillion, which comes from State Equity Participation (PMN) for infrastructure at sea and land infrastructure work costs IDR 2.2 trillion from Pelindo pockets.
