President Invites PNM Disciplined Customers To Develop Business
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo invites customers of the Madani National Capital (PNM) for the importance of building a character of the spirit of work and a disciplined attitude in developing business.
"If we have spoken Monday, it must be evicted. If we say Friday in installments, Friday must be ready to pay in installments. This is discipline, if I see the spirit of work, I don't hesitate here. I really want to tell you how good the spirit of work is important," said President Jokowi as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, February 19.
The President said that when he visited the customers of the Prosperous Family Economic Development (Mekaar) program fostered by the Madani National Capital (PNM) at the Cilegang Public Service Mall (MPP) Field, South Tangerang City, Monday.
Jokowi believes that by continuing to build a character of the spirit of work and a disciplined attitude, business owners can continue to develop their business for the better.
"The most important thing is to build the character earlier, enthusiasm for work, discipline. If mothers go up to the level of entry to banks, mothers want to take, for example, Rp. 1 billion, they are used to discipline, want to take Rp. 10 billion, they are used to good work spirit and discipline. That will be seen," he said.
The President also appreciated the competitive business products in South Tangerang City. The President reminded that competitive prices, good quality, and fast delivery also greatly affect the increase in sales of a product.
"We can only win tight competition if we have a good price. It's not expensive, but it's also not very cheap. If it's really cheap, we can lose a lot, the most important price is competitive," he said.
The President also said that in producing anything, the quality of being number one is because it is very important. Because that person will compare one product with another product with the same goods.
"If the price is both Rp. 10,000, people will think which one to choose, they will definitely choose the better quality," he said.
Sri Supeni, one of the customers of Mekaar, South Tangerang PNM, said that she is currently running a chicken pecel business at her home with a net income of IDR 200 thousand per day.
He initially borrowed Rp6 million in capital which was then paid for credit every two weeks of Rp175,000. "Now the business, thank God, continues to increase and can be of more benefit," Sri said when asked by President Jokowi.
