Aismoli Targets Sales Of Electric Motors To Reach 2,000 Units Throughout The IIMS 2024 Implementation
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Electric Motorcycle Industry Association (Aismoli) targets the sale of electric motorcycles during the implementation of the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) to reach 2,000 units.
"We (targeted sales) of around 2,000 units (electric motorists)," said Aismoli Chairman Budi Setiyadi to VOI, Monday, February 19.
Budi said, there are a number of electric motorcycle brands that are members of Aismoli and are present at the IIMS exhibition. A number of these brands include Panasonic, Greentech, Selis, Gesit and United.
"I think with the implementation of IIMS at JIExpo, this is a good momentum because we can also market and socialize to the public about the problem of electric motorcycles and at the same time the subsidy scheme that is now being carried out by the government," he said.
In addition, Budi said that his party was promoting an electric motorcycle sales center in several Indonesian cities.
According to him, the lack of dealers in several Indonesian cities is one of the obstacles to the small purchase of electric motorcycles.
"For that, we will help my members to be able to sell not only in exhibition events, but also throughout the year with subsidized electric motorcycle sales centers which will later be in big cities, especially in Kalimantan and Sulawesi," said Budi.
Furthermore, Budi invited local entrepreneurs who are interested in being able to collaborate with his party to make this happen.
"I will as the coordinator bridge with all brand holder agents (APM) so that local entrepreneurs can open dealer outlets, which are not only 1-2 brands but also all brands," he added.
