Jokowi It Turns Out That He Just Knows There Is A Snack Named Cireng
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) apparently did not know there were types of snacks called boci and cireng.
This was discovered when the head of state heard the name of the food from one of the sellers as well as a customer of the Prosperous Family Economic Development Program (Mekaar) fostered by the Madani National Capital (PNM).
Not long ago when he met PNM customers in Bekasi, Jokowi was also surprised to learn that there was a typical West Java (West Java) snack named seblak.
"Yesterday I just found out what it was like. Already, in Bekasi I was told, 'Sir, this is this... this. Oh, I know. Just for a moment (which was sold)?" asked President Jokowi to one of the customers of PNM Mekaar in South Tangerang, Monday 19 February, confiscated by Antara.
In the question and answer session, a customer named Ibu Alin, also replied that she not only sells seblak, but also a cap or aci and cireng meatballs (aci fried).
"Serlak sama boci. Boci cireng," said Alin.

Hearing this, President Jokowi was again confused and asked what was boci and cireng food.
"Boci? What is the Boci? What is Cireng?" asked Jokowi.
Alin also explained that cireng is made from sago which is donated with water and spices, then boiled with water. There is also a type of cireng aci that is fried and then mixed with soup.
President Jokowi then asked about Alin's sales turnover per day. In a day, Alin, who has been selling for four years, can collect turnover of up to IDR 650 thousand.
President Jokowi considers that the turnover obtained by Alin is high. Moreover, Alin also sells online and offline, although online sales of the system only account for 25 percent of total sales.
Before awarding a bicycle unit for Alin, the President also asked Alin to share tips on selling so that his merchandise sold.
