Bank DKI Credit Disbursement Grows 7.5 Percent In Q4 2023

JAKARTA - Bank Pembangunan daerah (BPD) Bank DKI noted that the distribution of kredir including sharia financing was IDR 52.00 trillion in Q4 2023 from IDR 48.37 trillion in Q4 2022 or grew by 7.50 percent.

Bank DKI's Director of Finance and Strategy, Romy Wijayanto, said that credit growth and financing of Bank owned by the DKI Provincial Government was mainly driven by the retail credit segment which grew by 49.01 percent to Rp1.93 trillion in Q4 2023, from Rp1.29 trillion in Q4 2022.

Then, the micro credit segment also grew by 42.67 percent to IDR 3.66 trillion in Q4 2023, from IDR 2.56 trillion in Q4 2022.

The acceleration of retail and micro credit growth encourages an increase in credit portion for MSME groups by an accumulation of 10.74 percent by the end of 2023, while the same period the previous year was 7.98 percent.

"The increase in the portion of MSMEs is in line with Bank DKI's vision and mission as well as the expectations of shareholders of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to be able to continue to increase the empowerment of MSMEs," Romy said in his statement, Monday, February 19, 2024 in Jakarta.

On the one hand, consumer credit also recorded positive growth of 11.58 percent to Rp22.10 trillion in Q4 2023, from the position of Rp19.81 trillion in Q4 2022.

Growth was also followed by the commercial credit segment (including term loan) in Q4 2023 growing 6.37% to Rp17.56 trillion, from the position of Rp16.51 trillion in Q4 2022. Medium credit grew 1.34 percent to Rp1.92 trillion in Q4 2023, from the position of Rp1.89 trillion in Q4 2022. Meanwhile, the distribution of syndicated loans reached Rp4.84 trillion in Q4 2023.

This credit growth was also followed by asset quality with a non-performing loan (npl gross) ratio indicator of 1.76 percent with a Nett NPL of 0.58% in Q4 2023.

In third party funds, Bank DKI focuses on collecting low cost funds, which is reflected in the growth of demand funds of 5.72 percent to Rp18.00 trillion per Q4 2023 from Rp17.03 trillion in Q4 2022, and savings funds in Q4 2023 amounting to Rp11.68 trillion or grew 2.22 percent (yoy) from Rp11.43 trillion in Q4 2022.

"Giro and Savings growth encourages an increase in the current account saving account (CASA) ratio from 43.70% in Q4 2022 to 46.65% in Q4 2023 in line with deposits as expensive funds recorded a decrease of 7.38% from Rp36.65 trillion in Q4 2022 to Rp33.95 trillion in Q4 2023," he explained.

Furthermore, the realization of the loan to deposit ratio (LDR) as of Q4 2023 was recorded at 81.73 percent or an increase of 7.43 percent compared to 74.30 percent in Q4 2022.

"These various performance achievements have pushed Bank DKI's total asset growth of IDR 4.17 trillion or grew by 5.30 percent from IDR 78.89 trillion in Q4 2022 to IDR 83.06 trillion in Q4 2023," he added.
