Investigating Allegations Of Corruption In Telkom Subsidiaries, KPK Is Looking For Active Parties Participating In Procurement
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating parties suspected of being active when PT Sigma Cipta Caraka (SCC), which is a subsidiary of PT Telkom, made procurements. This effort was made by examining the Director of Business Data Center & Management PT SC, Andreuw TH. A. F on Thursday, February 15.
Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri said the examination of Andreuw at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta. He was examined with Nurhayati who is part of PT Putra Jaya Maxima or Maxima EO.
"The two witnesses were present and confirmed, among others, regarding the alleged parties involved actively participating in the procurement of servers and system storage, both internal PT SC and private parties," Ali said in a written statement, Friday, February 16.
Actually, there is another witness who should be examined, namely the Head of Human Resources and the Law of PT Berdikari Insurance, Kristianto. However, he was absent from the summons and will be called again.
"Witnesses were not present and today is back on schedule," said Ali.
Previously reported, the KPK is investigating allegations of corruption in a subsidiary of PT Telkom, PT Sigma Cipta Caraka in 2017-2022. It is suspected that there was a fictitious procurement with a cooperation mode for the provision of financing for data center projects.
The anti-corruption commission suspects that this procurement involves a third party as a broker. As a result of this reckless act, the state is suspected of losing hundreds of billions of rupiah.
It has not been specified who the suspects are in the case. Later, their identities will be conveyed during the forced detention attempt.
