Attorney General's Office Seizes Assets Of 2 Suspects Asabri, Heru Hidayat And Bentjok In The Form Of 4 Coal And Nickel Mines

JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) confiscated 3 coal and nickel mines belonging to Heru Hidayat, a suspect in the alleged corruption case of PT Asabri. These three mines are suspected of being the result or crime of money laundering (TPPU).

Director of Investigation at the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), Febrie Adriansyah, said the 3 mines were located in different areas. Of the 3 mines, 2 of them are still in the process of confiscation.

"We have confiscated Sulawesi, the nickel mine belongs to Heru Hidayat, Sukabumi is in the process, Central Kalimantan is still in the process," Febrie told reporters, Friday, February 26.

Apart from confiscating assets belonging to Heru Hidayat, said Febrie, investigators also confiscated assets belonging to Benny Tjokrosaputro (Bentjok) in the form of mines.

However, it has not been explained in detail about the mine. It is only emphasized that currently investigators have studied all the information regarding the assets of the PT Asabri corruption suspects.

"(Confiscation) 3 Heru mines, 1 Benny Tjokrosaputro mine," he said.

The confiscation of the assets of the suspects was also carried out on a massive scale. This is because the AGO is focused on recovering the state losses incurred in this case.

Meanwhile, in this case the AGO has named nine suspects. Two former Directors of PT Asabri who were named as suspects, namely Major General (ret) Adam Rachmat Damiri and Sonny Widjaja.

Meanwhile, for the other six suspects, namely BE as the former finance director of PT. Asabri; HS as the Director of PT. Asabri; IWS as the Head of Investment Division of PT. Asabri; LP Managing Director of PT. Prima Network; BT and HH.

Finally, the AGO also named Jimmy Sutopo (JS) as the Director of PT Jakarta Emiten Investor Relations as a suspect.

Jimmy Sutopo is a private party involved in criminal acts of corruption. Determination of the suspect against him was based on order number print 09 / f.2 / fd.2 / 02/2021 dated February 15, 2021.
