JCI Opens Up 1.43 Percent After 2024 Election Voting

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) at the opening of trading Thursday 15 February 2024 rose 102.84 points or 1.43 percent to 7,312.58 at 09.07 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB) this morning.

Meanwhile, the JCI opened at 7,210.56, while the highest level for the JCI today was 7,365.68 and the lowest was 7,305.56.

The total share trading volume on the IDX reached 2.12 billion, with a transaction value reaching IDR 1.83 trillion.

There were 257 shares rising, 119 shares falling, and 206 shares flat.

The LQ45 index weakened 1.88 percent to 1006.702, while Japan's Nikkei 225 index strengthened 0.76 percent, Hong Kong's Hang Seng weakened 0.75 percent, China's Shanghai Composite closed today's trading. Meanwhile, Singapore's Straits Times rose 0.46 percent.

As for those who entered the Top Gainers ranks, namely PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI) rose 275 or 4.68 percent to IDR 6,150, PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) rose 225 or 3.20 percent to IDR 7,250, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) rose 175 or 2.92 percent to IDR 6,175.

Meanwhile, among the top losers, shares of PT Jaya Trishindo Tbk (HELI) fell 50 or 10.00 percent to IDR 450, shares of PT Petrindo Jaya Kreai Tbk (CUAN) fell 175 or 2.66 percent to IDR 6,400, and shares of PT Pioneerindo Gourmet International Tbk (PTSP) fell 280 or 15.64 percent to IDR 280.
