From The Case Of Drunk Police Bripka CS Tembaki 4 People, Violation Of RM Cafe Prokes Was Revealed

JAKARTA - The shooting case of four people by Bripka CS at RM Cafe, Cengkareng, West Jakarta did not get much attention. Behind the cowboy action, another case was revealed, namely, violation of the health protocol (prokes).

Seeing the common thread of this pekara, it started when the CS suspect came to drink alcohol at 02.00 WIB, Thursday, February 25th.

After about two hours in the cafe, the CS police officers left the location. He was billed to pay for the alcoholic drink he had drunk.

"But at around 4:00 a.m. because the cafe is already closed, a fight broke out between the suspect and the cafe staff," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Yusri Yunus to reporters, Thursday, February 25.

The quarrel between Bripda CS and employees of RM Cafe, Cengkareng was due to the bill that reached millions of rupiah. The bill was to pay for the alcoholic drinks the suspect drank.

"Yes, I have already said that there was a conflict when making payments because they did not accept it, so the perpetrator took out a firearm," said Yusri.

Based on information, the value of the bill for payments reached Rp.3.3 million. After the quarrel occurred, the suspect immediately took a firearm (senpi) and shot four people.

"With a drunken state, CS brother took out a firearm and shot the 4 employees. Three died on the spot and 1 is still being treated in hospital," said Yusri.

Yusri explained, the identities of the three people who were killed, namely, S as a member of the TNI, M and FSS as an employee of the RM Cafe. Meanwhile, another person with the initials H is currently undergoing medical treatment at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta.

In this shooting case, Bripka CS was charged with Article 338 of the Criminal Code regarding murder.

Meanwhile, in another case, the RM Cafe violated the health protocol because it was operating during the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB). This became known after Polda Metro Jaya explained the chronology of the shooting.

The head of the West Jakarta Civil Service Police Unit, Tamo Sijabat said, RM Cafe was recorded twice as violating the COVID-19 pandemic situation.

"Actually, we have acted twice. We violated health protocols, we were fined Rp. 5 million," said Tamo.

Tamo said that his party had imposed a sanction of closing 1x24 hours until the maximum administrative fine was in accordance with the violation.

In addition, it is undeniable that there is a tendency for cafes that operated in the past to change their concept to become a restaurant, as well as the RM Cafe license.

However, RM Café still stubbornly operates like a nightclub.

"The license is a cafe, but when we see it, there is a kind of restaurant like that. So, we've already acted twice, it's just being stubborn," he said.
