Bawaslu Make Sure There Are No Violations Of Voting Voice Letters In Makkah

JAKARTA - The Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) stated that it did not find any election violations related to the alleged voting letter in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Bawaslu member Lolly Suhenty explained that based on the results of the supervision, it showed no alleged violations.

Lolly said the polling group (KPPS) in Makkah had undergone procedures by reminding voters to check the 2024 election ballot they received.

"KPPS has carried out the procedure. Everyone who goes to the ballot booth has been reminded, 'open first, whether the ballot is damaged or not'. Well, he forgot not to check, so that's what he said in his clarification that he was confused, suddenly he chose two holes," said Lolly.

According to Lolly, the Overseas Election Supervisory Committee (Panwaslu LN) in Makkah has re-clarified the voter.

"As soon as asked in chronological terms, was it possible that he had done it twice without realizing it? It also happened in the clarification process carried out by Panwas," he said.

Lolly explained that based on the results of the clarification by Panwaslu LN, the case was declared to have been investigated.

"So the one who stated that it was completed was a statement by another party witness stating that his ballot was then replaced. So if the ballot is damaged, you can ask for it to be replaced. That process has been carried out," he said.

Previously, Bawaslu received a lot of information from the public regarding the viral news of the alleged ballot that had fallen in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Lolly said that his party immediately ordered Panwas to conduct a search of the information.
