Head Of OIKN Checks TPS Readiness In IKN Area
PENAJAM - Head of the Capital Archipelago Authority (OIKN) Bambang Susantono reviewed the readiness of one of the polling stations in the IKN area, to be precise TPS 1, in Argo Mulyo Village, Sepaku District, East Kalimantan (Kaltim).
Bambang said, although the technical arrangements for the 2024 General Election in the Nusantara area remain the working area of the North Penajam Paser Regency (PPU) and the PPU Regency Government, the role of the IKN Authority is still needed as a facilitator for workers in the Central Government Core Area (KIPP) who will exercise their voting rights during voting.
"We (OIKN) encourage workers from outside Kalimantan to exercise their right to vote in the 2024 General Election," said Bambang, in the capital city of Nusantara, Tuesday.
He ensured that several polling stations were ready to carry out general elections at IKN which will be held tomorrow on February 14, 2024, running smoothly.
Bambang also hopes that community participation in the electoral process can run successfully and democratically.
