Different DPT, DPTb, And DPK In Elections: Documents Bringing And Provisions Using Rights To Choose At TPS
YOGYAKARTA The 2024 General Election (Pemilu) will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. There are three types of voters who will give voting rights on voting day, namely voters in the Permanent Voter List (DPT), voters in the Additional Voters List (DPTb), and voters in the Special Voters List (DPK). So, what are the difference between DPT, DPTb, and DPK? Let's see the full information below.
Different DPT, DPTb, and DPK are enshrined in General Election Commission Regulation (PKPU) Number 11 of 2018 concerning the Preparation of Domestic Voter Lists in General Election Implementation.
In the regulation, what is meant by the Permanent Voter List (DPT) is the Temporary List of Final Improvement Results (DPSHP) which has been corrected by the Voter Committee (PPS), recapitulated by the District Election Committee (PPK), and determined by the district/city KPU or the Regency/city Independent Commission (KIK).
The list of elections itself is drawn up based on the combined results of the last period of the DPT election which was updated in a sustainable manner with the government's Potential Election Collection Data (DP4), to be used as material for the implementation of the update.
Next, DPTb is a voter who has been registered with the DPT at a polling station, but due to certain circumstances he cannot use his rights. Then, the voter proposes to move the location to another polling station.
Meanwhile, the DPK is a community that has a population identity, namely an electronic Identity Card (KTP-el), but has not been registered with the DPT and DPTb.
In addition to definitions, different DPT, DPTb, and other DPKs are related to the provisions for the use of voting rights on voting day. The explanation is as follows:
