Aston Martin Releases Vantage 2025 That Is More Powerful, Sophisticated, And Stronger Than Before
JAKARTA - Aston Martin released the latest Vantage today, February 12. Vantage reiterated the brand position in the ultra-luxury and high-performance sports car market.
Vantage's new announcement follows the successful introduction of last year's DB12 Coupe and Volante which further strengthens the next generation of Aston Martin sports cars.
In the company's release called Vantage, the latest Vantage continued a traceable line of design back to 1950, when Vantage's name was first used to show an upgraded engine pack for DB2 that had been proven in the race.
Vantage was first applied as a model in 1964, when the Vantage discourse version of the DB5 became a new mainstay in the ranks. However, the self-standing Vantage model was only introduced in the early 1970s. It is with a perfect style, unforgettable performance, and an incomparable character, Vantage embodies the quality of well-known sports cars.
Broadly speaking, the changes that exist in the latest Vantage include increased power in the engine, with improvements in line with hardware chassis and driver-help technology, as well as a thorough update to the cabin.
More Power, Same Machine
Vantage is equipped with a 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8 engine supplied by AMG, which still exists without any touch. Even so, power and torque increased significantly with peak power of 665PS and extraordinary torques of 800Nm, or the largest increase in power and torque ever compared to the previous 155PS and 115Nm models which were equivalent to an increase of 30 percent and 15 percent respectively.
As a result, the acceleration is 0-96 km/hour to 3.4 seconds and the maximum speed is claimed to reach 325 km/h. All channeled to the rear wheels only through automatic transmission of eight tested ZF accelerations.
From the specifications of this machine, Vantage's rival list is very competitive and includes Porsche 911, Mercedes-AMG GT, Bentley Continental GT and Ferrari Roma.
Similar Appearances, New Details
This new Vantage has been given a touch of design copied from the previous generation of cars. The body is 30mm wider and the grip is almost 40% larger. Pay careful attention, the front splitter is also wider, additional air filters on the front, the bigger exhaust end, and a new LED Matrix headlights design.
The latter differs significantly from smaller and narrower lights on older cars, giving this new Vantage front look much more in line with his larger brother, DB12. What's more, the side fins on the front side stand out more and the standard wheel size increases to 21 inches.
New Cabin Overall
If the changes to the exterior are relatively mild design evolution, the improvement in the cabin is much more significant as this new Vantage is equipped with Aston's unit which was first viewed on DB12. So obviously there is a big improvement compared to previous, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality, as well as 3D mapping, What3Words integration, and the ability to connect cars with Aston Martin's official applications.
Fortunately, in addition to a 10.25-inch central display and an equally large digital dashboard, Vantage is still equipped with a large number of shortcut buttons and dials that are supposed to make the adjustment of the function while driving easier than fiddling with the touch screen. The engine's start-stop dial also serves as a driving mode controller, while buttons for adaptive suspension adjustments and exhaust valves also occupy prominent positions in the center console. Meanwhile, the driving position feels like the previous Vantage with a low base and width that looks up at the long engine hood.
