Ahead Of Voting, Pertamina Adds 3 Kg Elpiji Supply In Bali
DENPASAR - Pertamina added 392 metric tons of LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas/Elpiji) supply of three kilograms in Bali to anticipate public demand in connection with the long holidays and the 2024 General Election.
"The additional stock is carried out based on monitoring LPG consumption in the last few weeks in nine regencies/cities in the Bali area," said Communication Manager and CSR of Pertamina Patra Niaga Region of East Java Bali and Nusa Tenggara Sunday Rahedi, quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, February 11.
According to him, the addition of subsidized LPG supply was 50.1 percent of the average daily normal consumption in Bali which reached 774 metric tons.
The addition of the stock of small LPG cylinders was immediately supplied to agents and bases throughout Bali.
He recorded that currently, specifically for the number of LPG bases that resemble the melon in Bali, there are 3,800 units.
"We urge the public to buy three kilograms of LPG at Pertamina's official base using ID cards to follow the government's circular to make the subsidy program right at three kilograms of LPG," he said.
On the other hand, Pertamina recorded that 608 thousand Population Identification Numbers (NIK) of residents in Bali were registered to buy a three-kilogram subsidized LPG at the base level.
The highest retail price (HET) for three kilograms set by the governor of Bali reached IDR 18,000 per cylinder at the base level.
The supply of LPG in Bali is supplied from the Integrated Fuel Terminal in Manggis, Karangasem Regency with a total storage of 6,000 metric tons and daily average consumption of 800 metric tons per day.
As for the supply of fuel ahead of this election, he added, there was no significant increase in consumption.
