Surya Paloh Reveals Opportunities For The Coalition Of AMIN And Ganjar-Mahfud If The Presidential Election Is 2 Rounds
JAKARTA - The general chairman of the Nasdem Party, Surya Paloh, revealed the possibility of forming a coalition between presidential and vice presidential candidate Anies-Muhaimin and the Ganjar-Mahfud pair is very open if the 2024 presidential election takes place in two rounds.
Surya explained that this possibility is very large because it is all for the benefit of the nation and state, so that the wheels of government can run effectively and efficiently.
"I think it's very, very (openly possible), it should be like that. And it can also be realized by all parties, because there are so many problems faced to be able to run the wheels of government administration, so that it requires national stability to be maintained," Surya said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, February 10.
The senior politician explained that the enthusiasm that exists for him and the Chairperson of the PDI-P, Megawati Soekarnoputri as one of the parties carrying Ganjar-Mahfud is the same, namely wanting to maintain the integrity of the nation after the presidential election process which is full of competition.

Even so, Surya admitted that he had not communicated with Megawati, because they were both busy to focus on fighting for their respective candidates until the voting process on Wednesday (14/2).
According to him, each supporting party is certainly struggling to win the presidential election in one round
"Yes, indeed, now they are both busy," he said.
