AMIN National Team Asks President Jokowi To Be An Example During The 2024 Presidential Election
JAKARTA - Deputy National Team (Timnas) Captain of the Anies-Muhaimin (AMIN) Winning Team, Sudirman Said, wants President Jokowi to be an example during the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential General Election (Pilpres) process.
He explained that the president must show a neutral attitude or not side with any candidate pairs, even though those who are competing are their own children.
"The president's words and actions must be in harmony. We miss a harmonious example between words spoken and actions," said Sudirman after attending a discussion organized by the Nusantara Dialogue Forum (FDN) with the theme "Pilpres and restoring the distortion of the competition into compromise" reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, February 7.
Sudirman explained that the president's statement was often not in line with what he had done, giving him the impression that he was not neutral during the 2024 presidential election.
Sudirman said the phenomenon triggered a large number of statements about the attitude of the academic community from various universities that considered the ethical and moral political crisis to be carried out by the president.
The former Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) hopes that President Jokowi can show the attitude of a leader who is fair or impartial, so that the quality of democracy in election momentum can be maintained.
