Unable To Sleep After Being Fooled By IDR 30 Million, Rico Ceper's Wife Keeps Crying

JAKARTA - Unpleasant news came from the artist Rico Ceper who had just experienced fraud by telephone with the mode of overtransfer. This started when Rico received an offer to present an event. After reaching an agreement through his manager, Rico's party was given proof of transfer by the fraudster.

"So the technique is to call, for example, okay, what is the budget for MC, an hour, 2 hours? Rp. 10 million, for example or Rp. 20 million. We will deposit it first in half, okay. For example, Rp. 20 million, he transferred Rp. 15 million. (He said) Excess (transfer), now at night he called. Sorry, proof of transfer was given, tofu at 21.00 WIB," said Rico when met in the Senayan area, South Jakarta, Saturday, February 3.

"Entering one of the banks (based on proof of transfer), oh yes, the advantage. Can the Rp 5 million, the word is transferred back to the name of the fulan because Rp 5 million is to pay for photography at the event," explained Rico Ceper.

After the perpetrators did the same thing twice, Rico, who was suspicious, finally decided to check with the bank. There he just realized that he had become a victim of fraud.

"In the morning I wanted to go to the bank, it's true that I didn't transfer. I printed a book, there was no zero (transfer). But the proof of the shipment was, somehow, edited the time to convince the deceived candidate. I was weak when I was printed, no one came in, you know," said Rico Ceper.

After calculating the total loss suffered by Rico, it reached IDR 30 million. Rico admitted that this was the first for him and also his wife, therefore Rico said that his wife did not sleep and continued to cry due to this fraud.

"Ya Rp 30 jutalah ada. Itu setop karena dia bilang bla, bla, bla, kalau nggak setop bisa hingga ratusan tuh. Jadi sangat meyakinkan, bukti transfernya lah. Itu kcercernya berbeda, kita dibikin nggak bisa breath sama penipuan ini," kata Rico Ceper.

"We told the bank, he said there were indeed a lot of fraud like this. We asked where to report it, it would be finished or not. It's too weak, until my wife slept in trouble, my wife cried, 'O Allah, what's wrong with our mas? We're talking together, we're doing this, we're helping. this, never mind, don't say it. Let's just say the exam," he concluded.
