Central Jakarta Police Distribute Thousands Of Personnel In Three Security Rings For Presidential Candidate Debates At JCC Senayan, Tonight
The Central Jakarta Metro Police deployed joint forces at several points in the security area of the 5th Presidential Candidate Debate 2024 organized by the Indonesian General Elections Commission at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) Senayan, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Sunday, February 4, evening.
A total of 2992 joint personnel were deployed in Ring 1 Area Debate, Ring 2 around the JCC entrance lobby and Ring 3 sectors outside the doors - entrances to the GBK area.
Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro said the 2992 joint personnel consisted of the National Police Headquarters, Metro Jaya Police, Central Jakarta Metro Police, TNI, DKI Regional Government and related agencies.
"We have placed personnel in Ring 1, Ring 2 and Ring 3 sectors outside the entrance and exit to the GBK area to parking pockets. Today's security pattern, we evaluate the pattern of securing the previous debate, so that today's security will be better," said Kombes Susatyo when confirmed, Sunday, February 4.
On Sunday afternoon, traffic flow was observed to be still normal and there was no road closure. Traffic engineering will be carried out situationally.

"For the closure or diversion of traffic flow, we will see the dynamics of the situation in the field, if later before the arrival of the Paslon there is a vehicle density, then of course we will prioritize candidate pairs," he said.
Kombes Susatyo emphasized to all personnel involved in security to act persuasively, serve, humanely and neutrally.
"We also urge the public to take part in the debate at their respective homes. To sympathizers and supporters of Paslon who will participate in the debate procession at the JCC to jointly maintain security and order," he said.
