Gibran Shows Off His Achievements During Campaign In Cibinong Bogor: Waste Management To Technology Utilization
BOGOR - Candidate for Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka showcased his success in managing waste in Solo City, Central Java, while campaigning in Cibinong, Bogor Regency, West Java, today. The success of serving for the last 2 years as Mayor of Surakarta was explained in front of millennials of the e-sport community."The garbage problem has all been obtained yet? It's not open, I've done something in it in the last 2 years," said Gibran when interacting with millennials, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, January 31.Gibran also explained his success in running waste power generation technology. Waste processed into electricity comes from households in Solo City."From upstream to downstream we escorted all of them. At the RT/RW level, residents have sorted the waste even though the TPA has a waste sorting place. However, the process will be even faster if the residents themselves have sorted the waste," said Gibran.According to him, environmental problems are of concern, ranging from household levels to final disposal sites (TPA). This is because environmental problems are the most highlighted by millennials."The waste problem, the problem of transitioning to green energy, that's why yesterday during the vice presidential debate I asked questions about greenflation or carbon capture, carbon storage is very important," said the eldest son of President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo. In addition to highlighting environmental issues, Gibran also discussed digital infrastructure and the digital ecosystem that has been built in Solo City. One of them, Solo Techno Park, which provides various skills tutoring such as water welding, cyber security education, MSME incubation, to gaming schools whose implementation is in collaboration with Acer."There are so many young people gathering there, mostly free wifi, because there is cooperation with Huawei. If other cities are smart cities, we have initiated to go to giga city," said Gibran.By cooperating with Huawei, Gibran wants to make Solo the city with the fastest internet access in Indonesia.
