Indonesian U-20 Vs Uzbekistan U-20 National Team Trial Results: Young Garuda Lose 2-3

JAKARTA - The U-20 Indonesian national team lost in the second test match against Uzbekistan U-20 at the Madya Stadium, Senayan, Jakarta, on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at 19.30 WIB.

In this match, Garuda Muda had given the opponent, but conceded in the last minute. Indra Sjafri's team was broken when the game had only been running for four minutes.

The surprise goal of Uzbekistan was created by Murodjon Komilov. The 1-0 score was created after Komilov took advantage of a flat pass from Azizbek Tulkinbekov.

After the opening goal, Indonesia U-20's efforts to balance the score were quite heavy. Several chances failed to be converted into goals. Only in the 32nd minute the position finally drew.

The Garuda squad equalized through Toni Firmansyah's action which provided assists for Rizky's Kafiatur goal. Kafiatur's shot hit the Uzbekistanns so the ball changed direction and failed to be anticipated by goalkeeper Samandar Muratbaev.

Success in making the position equally strong, in fact the 1-1 score did not last long. Uzbekistan again leads 2-1.

Uzbekistan's second goal came in the 40th minute due to goalkeeper Rifky Tofani's mistake. The goalkeeper read Ozodbek Kurbonov's cross from Uzbekistan's left wing. The ball then failed to reach and slid into the net.

The 2-1 advantage for Uzbekistan lasted until halftime.

Entering the second half, Indra Sjafri launched his tactics by rotating players. He entered several names, including Sudanese player Meshaal Hamzah Bashier.

This step succeeded in making Garuda Muda's game more aggressive. The U-20 Indonesian national team equalized 2-2 in the 74th minute through Arlyansyah Abdulmanan.

It's just that, again, the concentration before the match was over became the main problem for Indonesia U-20. They missed two minutes before dispersal.

Uzbekistan again broke into the U-20 Indonesian national team goal through Ravshan Khayrullaev's hard kick. Getting the ball outside the penalty box, Ravshan immediately fired a powerful shot with his right foot.

Ravshan's shot was unable to be blocked by Garuda Muda goalkeeper, Rifky Tofani. Ravshan Khayrullaev's goal also ensured a 3-2 Uzbekistan victory over Indonesia U-20.

This result made the U-20 Indonesian national team suffer a second defeat after losing to Thailand U-20 in the first test match.
