Free From Prison, Japanese Citizen Inmates Of Obscenity Of 5 Children In Bali Deported
A Japanese citizen with the initials TK (58) was deported from Bali after being released from the Kerobokan prison. This Japanese citizen was previously imprisoned for a case of sexual abuse of 5 children.
Head of the Immigration Detention Center (Rudenim) Denpasar, Bali, Gede Dudy Duwita, said that the foreigner violated Article 75 Paragraph (1) of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration in conjunction with Article 368 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 Paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.
"So in this case immigration carries out immigration administrative sanctions in the form of deportation to foreigners," said Dudy, Monday, January 29.
This Japanese citizen is known to be a volunteer for early childhood education (PAUD) in Renon, Denpasar since February 2018.
During his time as a volunteer, he lived in one of the rooms in PAUD.
The sexual abuse of 5 children occurred in January-April 2019 during the afternoon break. This act was discovered by the victim's parents who immediately reported it to the police.
In the court process, this Japanese citizen was sentenced to 5 years in prison in Kerobokan Prison for the molestation case. The convict was released in January 2024.
After being held for 21 days, this Japanese citizen was deported through I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport on January 25.
