Gibran Enjoys Fitness Tourism While Drinking Herbal Medicine In Bali
DENPASAR - Candidate for vice president number 2 Gibran Rakabuming Raka took advantage of his visit to Bali to enjoy fitness tourism in the form of health readings based on local wisdom while drinking herbal medicine.
"Yes, wellness tourism (fitness tourism) is for healing, drinking a kind of herbal medicine like that, like in Solo too," said Gibran at Mertasari Beach, Denpasar, Bali, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, January 27.
Gibran tiba di lokasi acara sekitar pukul 08.00 Wita bersama dengan istrinya, Selvi Ananda, dan sejumlah pengurus Tim Campaign Nasional (TKN) Prabowo-Gibran.
The presence of President Joko Widodo's eldest son was welcomed by thousands of people. Along the way along Mertasari Beach, Gibran paid attention to the condition of beach cleanliness and stopped at a hall on the rocks breaking waves.
Then, Gibran sat down with the founder of the Samsara Life Museum, Ida Bagus Agung Gunarthawa to hear the explanation.
Gibran himself also admitted that since two weeks ago he heard a lot of input from the spa activist group and wellness in Bali after the emergence of Law Number 1 of 2022 which included them in entertainment groups with soaring taxes.
"Yes, it has been discussed since last night. We have received the input from two weeks ago. It's clean enough here, it's just a matter of maintenance and awareness," he said.
Starting February 14, 2024, Bali will impose levies on foreign tourists. Regarding the use of the money to manage cleanliness, Gibran admits that he agrees and assesses that the people of the Island of the Gods are more understanding of this matter.
Meanwhile, Ida Bagus Agung Gunartawa for about an hour presents a form of fitness tourism by reading out the marriage or the Mahabharata narrative in the Adi Parwa section.

Next, he tried to see health conditions to determine recipes in herbal medicine. The way the reading takes local Balinese literacy such as Usada and Ayurweda is assisted by calculations based on birth.
"For example, what is the birth of us, then what vegetation is suitable for making herbal medicine or loloh in Balinese, whether using Pegagan or cinnamon," said Ida Bagus.
Gibran's arrival at Mertasari Beach entitled "Gibran Suryaning Sanur" is a series of activities for Prabowo Subianto's presidential candidate in Bali after having a dialogue with local youths on Friday (26/1) night.
Chairman of TKN Prabowo-Gibran, Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, said Gibrandi Bali's presence was to see the development of tourism in Bali while greeting residents even in a short time.
In addition, Gibran also prepared 2,045 packs of Balinese jinggo rice to eat with sympathizers and the community on the beach.
"That always maintains friendship, meetings, and also to get input from industry players, especially tourism, to get aspirations as well. So, Bali tourism continues to grow, going well," said Roeslan.
