Prosecutor's Office Arrests BRI Surabaya Corruption Convict Fugitive
The Fugitive Arrest Team of the Attorney General's Office has arrested a convict in the BRISurabaya corruption case named Ririn Sikiningsih who has been on the wanted list since 2023.

explained that the convict Ririn was arrested by the AGO's Tabur Team in the East Jakarta area on Wednesday (24/1) at around 15.00 WIB.
The convict Ririn when he was an employee of the Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) Unit Petemon Surabaya conspired with Fanny Triana, another convict in a separate file, applying for a loan at the bank where he worked of Rp. 750 million using fake documents.
"As a result of the convict's actions, BRI suffered a loss of Rp. 617 million," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, January 25.
Putu Arya explained that the convict Ririn was arrested to serve a sentence based on the decision of the Surabaya District Court Number: 171/Pid.Sus-TPK/2022/PN Sby dated May 30, 2023 with a verdict of eight years in prison and a fine of Rp. 300 million, subsidiary to six months in prison.
Based on the verdict of the Surabaya District Court, the convict Ririn was also required to pay compensation of Rp. 7776 million, provided that if he was not paid within one month, his property was confiscated by the prosecutor's office to compensate for state losses.

"Thanks to the cooperation between the AGO Tabur Team and the executor prosecutor, the convict's escape was finally stopped," he said.
Terpidana Ririn telah sampai di Surabaya hari ini dan untuk sementara diikapan di Branch Rumah Detention Negara (Rutan) Kelas 1 Surabaya pada Kejaksaan Tinggi Jawa Timur.
"Tomorrow we will take it to the Class II A Women's Detention Center in Surabaya in Porong, Sidoarjo," said Putu Arya Wibisana.
