BMW X5 Facelift Assembled Malaysia Comes With Modern Touch And Premium, Estimated Price
JAKARTA - After debuting globally in February last year, BMW finally released X5 facelifts to the Malaysian market and will be produced locally (CKD) in Malaysia.
According to Paultan, Monday, January 22, this car will only be offered in one variant, namely xDrive50e M Sport.
The car features several changes with the headlights designed to be 35 mm smaller than before, with an arrow-pattered LED light pointing outward.
Meanwhile, BMW's typical kidney grip gets light of a cascade if customers buy an Iconic Glow package. Then, other changes include the front fender air channel with three horizontally on the back.
Another notable thing is that the back light forms a 'X' motive that is good at the light in the form of a separate 'L'. As before, the new X5 will come as a standard with an M Sport package that adds a more sporty front and back bumper.
Then the inside has a BMW Curved Display' screen like other BMW models on the dashboard with the presence of a luxurious Provisional Live Cockpit Professional package consisting of a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch touch screen with an 8.5 operating system as a vehicle infotainment system.
With a large center screen, the programmable physical and row temperature controllers have been removed, so most of the vehicle's functions can only be accessed through the touch screen. In addition, the center console is decorated with various buttons accompanied by a switch replacing conventional press levers.
Moving to the kitchen runway, this car carries a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) system with a 3.0 liter turbocharged 6-cylinder freshly combined with a single electric motor, resulting in a total power of 483 dk and 700 Nm torque.
Accompanying an electric motor, this car has a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 25.7 kWh which can make X5 run 110 km with pure electric power.

Offered with exterior color choices such as Black Saphire, Manhattan, Mineral White, and Skystraper Gray, X5 xDrive50e M Sport are estimated to be valued at 530,000 ringgit or around IDR 1.7 billion.
Meanwhile, BMW has also presented this model in Indonesia with the xDrive40i M Sport variant with a price tag of Rp1.79 billion Off The Road DKI Jakarta and is available in all official dealer networks.
