Heritage Customs Starts Production Of Land Rover Defender Convertible With Unique Touch
JAKARTA - Heritage Customs, a car modification workshop from the Netherlands known for its unusual works, has started production of Valiance Convertible, which is a unique Land Rover Defender with an open roof.
The anticipated model will be unveiled in the coming months, promising a perfect alloy between luxury, off-road capabilities, and unique designs that are of interest to fans.
This Valiance Convertible is based on Defender 90 generation L663, which was launched in September 2019 on the Frankfurt Motor Show. And compared to its predecessor, the Defender series is intended for the upper class segment.
Valiance Convertible stole the attention with its Sunbeam Yellow paint, combined with black accents on the roll cache, front bonnet, and side air ventilation holes. The roof of the hand-made cloth, which can be controlled electronically, adds a touch of luxury to the tough Land Rover aesthetics.
This convertible variant has been modified very carefully, equipped with a tempa wheel, artificial skin trim, sports seat, and sixth seat to accommodate more passengers.
On the inside, Valiance Defender shows off black seat coatings, aluminum panels, and additional strategic passenger seats in the middle of the front row. Yellow jahitan across the cabin combined with exterior paint, creating a harmonious and stylish look.
Reported by Autocar, January 20, Heritage Customs plans to produce only five units of this exclusive Convertible Defender. Everything has been ordered. The conversion fee reaches 58,000 pounds or Rp1.15 or a total of more than 100,000 pounds or Rp1.9 billion at the basic price of the car.
It should be noted that conversion does not include modifications to powertrain, it also allows customers to choose the desired configuration. Or you can still choose according to factory specifications.
Niels van Roij, co-owner Heritage Customs, stated that Valiance Convertible "carves a bodystyle 90 and the history of this car in the previous generation, with a charming open roof." The project is in line with the company's philosophy of combining traditions with modern aesthetics.
Van Roij, known as the innovative craftsman model, has previously introduced unique vehicles such as Rolls-Royce Wrap-based shooting brake and Tesla Model S with body estate. Valiance Convertible is proof of Heritage Customs' commitment to push for automotive design boundaries.
