Student Murder Suspect In Depok Was Reported In Child Rape Case
JAKARTA - The police arrested Argiyan Arbirama, who is a suspect in the murder of his girlfriend, Kayla Rizki Andini, in Depok, West Java. The results of the examination and investigation, it turned out that the young man had also been reported with a child rape case.
"There are new findings in the investigation process. The suspect has also been reported in connection with a child sexual intercourse case," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi in his statement, Saturday, January 20.
The rape case was reported to the Depok Metro Police on January 3. Then, from the results of the examination, the suspect had intercourse by threatening the victim.
"Based on the examination of the suspect by the Jatanras Sub-Directorate - Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya, the suspect admitted that he had forced and threatened his girlfriend to have sex," he said.
From the results of coordination with the Depok Metro Police, the handling of the alleged rape case is still ongoing. Thus, there are plans to withdraw the investigation process.
"The victim when she was forced to have sex is still not an adult or under 18 years old. Currently, she is 9 months pregnant and is in preparation for childbirth," said Ade.
For information, the murder case of Kayla Rizki Andini was first discovered when her body was found in one of the rented houses in Sukmajaya, Depok City, Thursday, January 18.
The police who carried out the investigation found evidence and clues that the perpetrator was Argiyan Arbirama. So the arrests were made.
