Village Head Of Village Fund Corruption Suspect In Indragiri Hulu Entered Into Cells, Makes State Loss Of IDR 358 Million
PeKANBARU - Investigator of the District Attorney's Office (Kejari) Indragiri Hulu, Riau Province detained a village head (kades) on behalf of Darpin bin Kasnari as a suspect in alleged corruption in the village fund budget, Tanjung Sari village, Kuala Cinaku for the 2021-2022 fiscal year.
Head of the Intelligence Section (Kasi) of the Inhu Attorney General's Office, Muhamamd Ulinnuha, said the detention would last for the next 20 days, starting from January 17, 2024 to February 5, 2024, to facilitate the inspection process.
"The suspect is in good health and is being held at the Class II B Rengat Detention Center to facilitate further legal proceedings," he said in Rengat as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, January 18.
Darpin is suspected of corruption in the financial management activities of the Tanjung Sari Village Budget (APBDesa) which resulted in alleged state losses.
The results of the examination by the Prosecutor's Office, Indragiri Hulu, stated that the suspect carried out fictitious inflating funds on the responsibility for the implementation of the Village Fund (DD), taxes and distribution of proceeds and the use of Special Financial Assistance (BKK).

In addition, the distribution of taxes and levies for the 2021-2022 Fiscal Year (TA) is also illegal, as should be done after calculating state losses.
"The auditor concluded that it had caused state losses of Rp358,047,408," he said.
