Prabowo-Gibran's Electability Is High But Stagnant, TKN Calls Those Who Don't Want One Round Want To Spend Money
JAKARTA - Secretary of TKN Prabowo-Gibran, Nusron Wahid responded casually to the Indonesian Political Indicators survey which stated that Paslon's electability number 2, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, was stagnant despite beating the other two candidates.
Nusron said that TKN still respects the hard work of survey institutions that collect data related to the 2024 presidential election.
"Yes, let it be, survey institutions, go ahead, we respect the name of the survey, we respect the survey institute for its hard work and hard work doing the survey. If the results are good, thank God it makes us work hard, if the results are not good, we will work hard again," said Nusron at the TKN Prabowo-Gibran Media Center, Thursday, January 18.
It is known that Prabowo-Gibran's electability was highest in the Political Indicators survey with an electability rate of 45.79 percent. However, Nusron assessed that this figure will go to the target of 50 percent on voting day so that one round of the presidential election can be achieved.
"The problem is, the will of one round is not only what we want, this is not just the people of TKN. TKN only wants to voice, the people want one round," he said.

The reason people want one round, said Nusron, is because they want to save state money for road construction and other public facilities. If anyone doesn't want one round, according to him, it means that they want to waste state money.
"Why? Because the people want to save Rp27 trillion. The people need the money to build roads, build hospitals, health centers, schools. People don't want to waste," explained Nusron.
"If there are other candidate pairs who want two rounds, go ahead, that means they want a waste of money," he said.
