LSI Survey: Ganjar-Mahfud Overtake Anies-Imin Towards The Second Round Of The 2024 Presidential Election
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI) released the results of the electability survey of presidential and vice presidential candidates in the 2024 presidential election. As a result, the Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD pair again overtook the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar pair.
"The number 3 pair Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD are ranked 2 overtook pair number 1 Anies-Muhaimin who dropped to rank 3," said LSI speaker Ardian Sopa in a virtual survey release, Thursday, January 18.
In the survey, Ganjar-Mahfud experienced an increase in electability from 22.9 percent in the previous survey to 24.8 percent. Meanwhile, Anies-Muhaimin decreased from 25.3 percent to 22.8 percent.
"The number 1 pair decreased in this period by 2.5 percent from the previous period, and dropped to rank 3 in this survey," said Ardian.
The collection of LSI survey data, Denny JA, was carried out in the January 3-11 period, 2024, involving 1,200 respondents who were interviewed face-to-face using a questionnaire.
The sampling methodology is multistage random sampling and is equipped with qualitative research. This survey is said to have a margin of error +- 2.9 percent.
