The 'Terios 7 Wonders' Held Again By Exploring North Maluku
JAKARTA - PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) is again holding the Terios 7 Wonders' event, a program to explore the natural and cultural wealth of the archipelago by driving Daihatsu Terios as well as testing its toughness and performance.
This annual event will be held in early 2024, on January 14-19 to be exact. For this edition, the expedition team explored various iconic places in North Maluku, from Ternate to Halmahera.
Sri Agung Handayani, as Marketing Director and Corporate Planning & Communication Director of PT ADM, said this program is a tangible manifestation of his party in supporting and promoting the natural beauty and various cultures in the country.
"This program also proves the toughness of Terios' performance in being carried on an adventure across various terrain conditions in Indonesia," Agung said in a statement received by VOI, Wednesday, January 17.
In this event, adventurers carried Daihatsu Terios cars for five days by taking a route as far as 390 km, by exploring seven destinations, starting from Kedaton Kecil, Mangrove Guraping Forest, Sungai Gaongo, Talaga-Datat Dodengo Village, Jailolo Bay, Lake Tolire, and Jikomalao Beach.
The Terios 7 Wonders' has been held since 2012 by exploring Sumatra, then Java (2013), Sulawesi (2014), Kalimantan (2015), Flores (2016), North Maluku (2017), South Maluku (2018), Bengkulu, Pontianak, and Kolaka (2019), East Kalimantan, Sumba, and Baubau (2022), and West Nusa Tenggara (2023).
Daihatsu Terios is a car competing in the Low Sport Utility Vehicle (LSUV) class with a capacity of seven passengers and has been present in the country for 17 years.
Carrying the 2NR-VE DOHC Dual VVT-I 1,500 cc engine, this car not only provides optimal performance, but also is efficient in fuel thanks to Eco Idle technology which can turn off the engine automatically temporarily when the vehicle stops.
In Indonesia, Daihatsu Terios is pegged at prices ranging from Rp. 243 million to Rp. 309.25 million On The Road DKI Jakarta. The prices sold vary depending on the area and location.
