Daft Punk Disbanded, Partygoers Feel Sad
JAKARTA - Electronic group Daft Punk ended their career on Monday, February 22. Through a video titled Epilogue, they announced their departure from the music world.
The news that was confirmed by their publicity made party lovers or partygoers surprised. On social media, said Daft Punk, it has been reverberating since yesterday until today, Tuesday.
“Electronic music would be different without Daft Punk. Will miss them but thank you for everything”, wrote a netizen.
Comedian Stephen Colbert said, "I think someone should tell Daft Punk that this is the worst time to remove the mask".
There are also those who hope Daft Punk doesn't announce their disbandment. “Just give the new guy a helmet and let us think everything's fine. I also hope my parents do this".

Publication Kathryn Frazier confirmed the news of Daft Punk's disbandment but was reluctant to state the reason. Random Access Memories is the last studio album Daft Punk has released.
