In the 2014 elections and the 2019 elections, said Ahmad, identity politics is synonymous with the termscebong, kampret, buzzeRp, kadrun, and so on are busy on various social media and people's real lives.

However, in the 2024 election, identity politics was not found much in the fight or debate between presidential and vice presidential candidates.

According to Ahmad, conditions that tend to be calm in the 2024 General Election do not mean that identity politics is dead.

"It could be that later it might be used again or rise again when there is an issue or there are certain cases," he said.

Ahmad revealed that identity politics is part of social expanding or as social foodlines, such as ethnicity, religion, territory, and so on that can make people crack.

However, added Ahmad, identity politics is something that has the potential to become a wealth, strength, and advantages of a country with existing and cultural diversity related to religion and ethnicity.
