There Are Only 8 KPK OTTs Throughout 2023, Anything?

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) revealed that only eight hand arrest operations (OTT) were held throughout 2023. This number decreased compared to the previous year, which was 10 silent operations.

Nawawi also detailed that the anti-corruption commission had handled hundreds of corruption cases. He said there were 127 investigations, 161 investigations, 129 prosecutions, 124 executions, and 94 cases declared inkrah or permanent legal force.

Meanwhile, the number of public complaints submitted to the anti-corruption commission reached 5,079 reports. "Of these, 690 were archived and 4,389 were verified," said Nawawi.

Of the 4,389 verified 1,962 of them are in the review process, 3 reports are forwarded to external parties, 9 reports are forwarded to internal, and 2 reports are still in the verification process.

"Then 2,413 were archived," he concluded.
