South Jakarta I DGT Regional Office Successfully Exceeds Target Three Times In A Row
JAKARTA - The Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes (Kanwil DJP) South Jakarta I has succeeded in exceeding the target of receiving annual taxes for the third time in a row.
Head of the South Jakarta DJP Regional Office I Dionysius Lucas Hendrawan conveyed that the realization was Rp. 87.186 trillion or 103.67 percent of the 2023 tax revenue target of Rp. 84.099 trillion.
"This acceptance grew by 12.73 percent compared to last year's revenue," he said in his official statement, quoted on Tuesday, January 16.
Lucas added that this achievement was also supported by the achievement of the tax revenue target by all Tax Service Offices (KPP) within the South Jakarta Regional Office of DGT I.
Nationally, DGT has also achieved the target of tax revenue for the third time in a row.
Throughout 2023, DGT recorded a national revenue achievement of IDR 1,869.23 trillion, equivalent to 102.8 percent of the Presidential Regulation 75/2023 target of IDR 1,818.24 trillion.
The South Jakarta I DGT Regional Office is one of the vertical DGT units with working areas in parts of the South Jakarta Administrative City.
The working area of the South Jakarta DGT Regional Office covers four sub-districts and 26 sub-districts including Mampang Prapatan District (5 urban villages), Pancoran District (6 urban villages), Setiabudi District (8 urban villages), and Tebet District (7 urban villages).
Lucas said that the tax revenue for the South Jakarta Regional Office of DGT I in 2023 came from several dominant sectors, including the Large and Retail Trade sector, Car and Motorcycle Repair and Maintenance by 26.12 percent, the Processing Industry sector by 12.38 percent, and the Financial and Insurance Activity sector by 11.37 percent.

Lucas also thanked all taxpayers, stakeholders, and employees in the South Jakarta Regional Office of DGT I for their contribution and synergy in achieving the revenue target in 2023.
"Hopefully this achievement can be a spirit for all parties to contribute to the state by realizing tax revenues in 2024," he concluded.
